  • Don’t assume that we know what we’re doing by also don’t assume that we don’t know.

  • Ask questions. 

  • Be excited. 

  • Treat Everyone, Everywhere, Equally should apply to EVERYONE, not just Black folks. 

  • Listen to our questions and know where we are coming from – it’s just a lack of experience. 

  • Offer your help. 

  • Create handouts or posters or graphics with top tips for the outdoors.
     
  • Have classes or instructions on basic outdoor skills (i.e. pitching a tent, building a campfire, reading trail signs, safety tips) for adults and families
